Documents & Contracts help create written agreements between you and the recipients. However, it might take time for both parties to complete it fully, so you must be informed of their progress. With this update, you and your team can be notified as soon as a recipient views the document for the first time!
⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You?
Viewed Document Notice: You can now enable notifications for your team, so once a recipient views a document for the first time, you receive an email letting you know.
Notification Personalization: Control how the notifications look by changing the template and subject. This improves efficiency by ensuring the information is relayed clearly.
Document Custom Values: With the help of custom values, you can include information about the document that was viewed, including preview links to simplify management.
⭐️How To Add Document Viewed Notifications?
If you think this will be beneficial to your business, follow these steps to start receiving notifications when your recipients view the documents you’ve sent!
To start, navigate to the Documents & Contracts tab inside the Payments section and access the Settings indicated by the gear icon.
Switch to the Team Notifications tab.
Scroll down to the Document Viewed option and toggle the option on to enable it.
Select a template from the drop-down menu, edit your subject, and click Save.
Whenever a recipient views the document for the first time, the team member who sent it will be notified. Making it easier to touch base and re-engage customers to improve your completion rates and smooth communication.
