Modify Existing Subscriptions

Subscriptions help you secure a steady income and manage repeating services; however, up to this point, once a subscription was created, you could not modify it in the future. We understand how frustrating that can be, so we’ve added an update option to subscription management. Come check it out!

⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You?:

  • Product Management: Now you can add or remove products from an existing subscription, as long as all products share the same billing frequency and currency.

  • Quantity Editing: Adjust product quantities (from 1–1000) and see updated subscription totals reflected in future billing cycles.

  • Subscription Dates: Edit subscription dates, including the Start and End Date for any non-cancelled subscription. The charge dates remain unchanged, ensuring payment schedules stay predictable for your customers.

⭐️How To Modify Existing Subscriptions?

To use this feature and modify active subscriptions without disturbing payment schedules for customers, follow these steps.

  1. Head to the Subscription tab inside of the Payments section and click the three dots next to the subscription to modify.

  2. In the option menu, click Update.

  3. Add and remove products, and edit the dates or quantities for your subscription.

  4. A preview will display your updates, then confirm the changes to update the subscription.
