Category Completion & Default Certificates in Courses
There’s nothing more satisfying than receiving a reward for a job well done. Course completion certificates are one reward you can offer learners in your portal. We’ve made some improvements to make this system more compelling.
⭐️How Will These Changes Affect You:
Default Certificate: Now all new courses include various default course completion certificates, making the setup process efficient and ensuring courses have the option to award a credential.
Certification Notification: For existing courses without a completion certificate a banner will appear, prompting you to quickly add one.
Template Access: Now, you can view and edit all templates attached to a Course Completion Certificate directly from the course builder, leading to a direct and efficient approach.

⭐️How To Use Category Completion Certificates?
You can attach certificates to a category for extra motivation, providing recognition for completing a part of the course and promoting learner engagement. This is how you set it up.
Navigate to the Courses Product tab inside the Memberships section and click the name of the course you’d like to edit.
Click the plus sign icon next to the category and select Add Certificate.
Select the certificate template you’d like to use and click Apply.
You can find and edit the Certificate inside the category, similar to any lesson.

This way you can motivate your students to complete every category, reward them for sticking to the end of the course, and increase your overall completion rates. We hope you enjoy these updates as much as we do.
